Can YOU pass the Rockstar Games coding interview?

Last year Rockstar Games got hacked and the GTA-5 source code was stolen. It recently got leaked online in public channels, which lead someone to discover an old coding challenge from 2008 that Rockstar Games used to quiz potential candidates who were applying for a software engineering position. In the video I attempt the coding challenge (and probably fail the imaginary interview miserably!) for fun.

I learned a lot from attempting this challenge, especially on the topic of bit shifting. If you can think of any way to improve the speed of my solution, feel free to let me know in a comment on the video!
